Callander to Strathyre... oh yes and back again.
19 miles and a bit more for good measure as we avoided the floods. That was 37,691 steps to be more precise. Phew! It was a mighty trek for us but well worth it for the scenery in spite of the vaguaries of the weather system. We developed a real 'on again, off again' relationship... with our waterproofs.
We're paying for it now of course as we ache and can barely lift our celebratory whiskies. Who knew walking could be so much work? In fact I'm calling this blog short in the interest of alcohol... and my partaking of it. I can tell you all about the actual walk tomorrow when I've had my beauty sleep.
